Templates
Define simple rules — e.g. flat rate, by weight band, or by destination zone. Fast to set up and good when your shipping is straightforward.
Inferred from carrier billing
Upload your carrier billing CSVs and CM6 infers the rules behind your real shipping costs — then applies them to every future order automatically.

Download a recent period of billing as CSV — the more representative the period, the better the inference.

Drop the file into the fulfilment step. CM6 reads the structure of your real charges.
Review the inferred rules
CM6 shows you the cost logic it derived. Inferred costs are always labelled as inferred, never presented as observed facts.
Apply going forward
Once confirmed, the rules cost every new order as it arrives.
Common issues
| Symptom | Fix |

| Shipping cost looks flat / unrealistic | You may still be on a basic template — upload carrier billing to infer real rules. |
| Inferred costs seem off for some orders | The billing period may not cover those zones or service levels. Upload a more representative period. |
| Upload rejected | Check the CSV is the carrier's billing export (not a tracking or manifest file) and isn't empty. |
