Configure VAT per region. CM6 applies it at the line-item level so net revenue is genuinely net — not gross with tax quietly inflating your margin.

Platform & subscription fees
Your Shopify subscription and GMV-based fees are real costs of trading. CM6 allocates them across orders rather than treating them as invisible overhead — so each order carries its fair share.
Custom costs
Every business has costs the standard layers don't capture — influencer fees, packaging inserts, a per-order levy, a fixed monthly cost to amortise. Add them as custom costs and CM6 folds them into contribution profit alongside everything else.
Common issues
| Symptom | Fix |

| VAT shows as zero on some orders | No usable VAT rate was available for that order; configure the region's rate so it's applied. |
| Payment fees look wrong | Check the gateway is mapped to the right fee schedule; rates differ by gateway and region. |
| A known cost isn't reflected | Add it as a custom cost — standard layers won't capture business-specific costs. |
